Evelyn Rich Pugh

Evelyn Rich Pugh, wife of the late Albert H. Pugh, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
Evelyn was a member of Northgate Baptist Church, Greenville Women's Club, Hillcrest Garden Club, PEO Sisterhood, and the former Crescent Literary Club. She was formerly employed by First Federal Savings and Loan in Greenville.
She loved to cook and was known for her buttermilk biscuits and red velvet cake. She enjoyed bridge and lunches with her many friends in Greenville and dinners with her new friends at Walton Wood Independent Living in Charlotte where she spent her last seven years.
Evelyn is survived by her son and his wife, Hunter and Katherine Pugh; her daughter and her husband, Ann and Charles Holland, all of Charlotte, NC. Evelyn had seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown with the funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. A private burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
