Evelyn Snoga Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rhodes Funeral Home - Karnes City on Feb. 20, 2024.
Evelyn Felux Snoga of San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Heavenly Father February 17,2024 at the age of 90. The youngest of nine children, she was born to Joe and Rosie Felux on September 5,1933 in Cestohowa, Texas.
Evelyn lived a life of service to God and to her family. She was a dedicated and loving spouse to her beloved husband, Ivan, for 70 years. Together they were the perfect example of a God-centered marriage that was based on sacramental and sacrificial love.
She was God's love revealed to our world and her devotion to God, her husband, and her five daughters was her mission in life. As her family grew with the addition of her sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Evelyn continued to model the example of authentic love. She embodied Christ's hands and feet in a difficult world and embraced everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, her children; Joni Woodchick (Hugh), Judy Pawelek (Deacon Michael), Jill Moorman( Scott), Jennifer Snoga and Jeri Gibbens(Dan); her grandchildren; Matthew Woodchick (Lauren) and their children Taylor, Ella and Addison; Andrew Woodchick (Taylor), Ben Woodchick (Victoria) and their children Aria, Charlotte and Brooks; Michael Pawelek II ( Becky) and their children Cora, Evelyn, Caroline, Amelia, Michael III, and Augustine; Joseph Pawelek (Casey) and their children Madeleine, Joseph Jr., and Samson; David Pawelek (Tarah) and their children Reese, Louis, Zelie and Miles; Elizabeth Bigelow (Matthew) and their children Benjamin, Maximilian and Conrad; John Pawelek (Natalie) and their children Judah and Thaddeus; Robert, Jacob and Luke Moorman; Connor Snoga (Alli) and their children Anna Marie and Elizabeth; Brad Gibbens (Ryane) and their children Lucy, Penny, Walker, Mary and Katy; Kristin Jaworski (Jeff) and their children Julia, Emily, John and Luke; Victoria Gibbens, Jack Gibbens (Colleen),William Gibbens (Fiance' Megan Hafer) and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Felux.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters-in-law; Isidore (Lillian), Robert, Joe (Margaret) and Henry (Lucy) Felux; her sisters; Annie (Fred) Sekula, Elizabeth (Fred) and Mary (Henry) Wiatrek, and Rose (Aloys) Pawelek and her great grandson Fisher Woodchick.
