Mrs. Evelyn Jane Stafford, age 77 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Stafford will be conducted on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11AM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Long officiating. Interment will follow in Follis Chapel Cemetery, in Trenton.
She was born July 23, 1947, in Milan, TN; the daughter of the late Virgil Harmon & Frances Adell Sanders. She worked as the assistant manager at Pizza Hut for many years, then transitioning to being a caregiver.
Mrs. Stafford is survived by two daughters, Crystal Stephenson, Deanna Leke (David); sister, Brenda Trusler; brothers, Virgil Harmon Jr., Stanley Harmon (Luann); sisters-in-law, Florence Lilley, Judy Smallwood; three grandchildren, Ashley Cooper, Corri Whitby, Jema Stephenson; and six great-grandchildren, Kynzi, Maci, Kreed, Nash, Brady, and Evie. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Stephenson; sons-in law, Barry Green, Kip Wilson; and brothers, Harold Harmon, Bob Harmon, and Steve Harmon.
The family will receive friends from 5PM – 8PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Evelyn Jane Stafford.
