Fall River, MA -Evelyn (Medeiros) Travers, 94, of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
She was the wife of the late Dennis D. Travers.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Pontes) Medeiros.
Evelyn leaves her three sons, Ronald Travers (Susan) of Portsmouth, Thomas Travers (Sandy) of Florida, Gary Travers (Doreen) of Tiverton and her son-in-law Thomas Souza. She was the grandmother of six and a great-grandmother of ten.
Evelyn was the mother of the late Debra Souza and sister of the late Edward Medeiros, Hilda Barboza and Tina Pacheco.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. A prayer service will begin at 6:00PM
Burial will take place, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 9:00AM from the Connors Funeral Home followed by Committal Prayers in the Mausoleum at Notre Dame Cemetery, 1540 Stafford Road, Fall River, MA.
