Born June 7, 1931, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Lister and Carmen Mack. She was a graduate of the Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing at St. John's University, and the Teacher's College at Columbia University, both in New York City, as well as Emmanuel College, Boston, MA.

Her assignments included duty at US Naval hospitals at Camp Pendleton, CA; Guam; Yokosuka, Japan; St. Albans, NY; and Newport, RI. She was an instructor at Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, IL, and at the Women's Officer School (New Officer Indoctrination), Newport, RI. Following duty at the Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, she retired with the rank of Commander and moved to Portsmouth, RI.
Beverly was a communicant at St. Barnabas Church, Portsmouth, RI, where she was a Lector and Choir member; and she was a member of a small Christian community at St. Lucy Church, Middletown, RI. She was a long-time member of the Newport Navy Choristers, as well as the Circle of Scholars at Salve Regina University, Newport, RI. Her former volunteer activities included participation as a literacy tutor at Lucy's Hearth, a shelter for homeless women and children, in Middletown, RI; and the Compeer Program in Warwick, RI, where she befriended the mentally challenged.
Beverly is reunited in Heaven with her parents; a sister, Elaine; her brother, Ivan, and sister-in-law, Ethel; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and colleagues. She is survived by her nephew Kevin Mack and his wife Cathy; niece Eileen Mack Parascandola, cousins Jewel Hyman and Marilyn Risi, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She remains grateful for the friends - from various stages of her life, and especially those from the St. Barnabas community and her neighbors - who aided in her care and allowed her to live life with dignity.
