Evera Ruth Jackson (EV) beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother returned to her Heavenly Home July 11, 2024 surrounded by loved ones after a seven-month battle from a Hemorrhagic Brain Stroke that left her paralyzed through half her body and difficulty in her brain.
She was born Evera (EV) Ruth Haring on June 1, 1946 to Everett LeRoy Haring and Ruth Larsen Haring in St. Anthony, Idaho the second of four children. She met and married Narvin Ray Jackson, December 15, 1964 and together they had four children of which she said were her greatest accomplishment in this life.
Evera belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was sealed to her husband Narvin on December 19, 2008. Evera served as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple for eight years and loved it. Evera worked for Harmon's Grocery Store in different managerial positions for over thirty years.
Family was always her first priority! She made every birthday, celebration, wedding and sporting event that she could. She was the shining light to each member of the family. Loved by each child, grandchild and great-grandchild! If you said "I love you" to her she would always say "I love you more!"
Evera loved reading, knitting, crocheting and would make blankets for all the babies. She loved life and was always on the go shopping for that next purse.
Evera is survived by her sister, Verdena Grupe; her brother, Thayne Haring. Her children; Narvin Troy Jackson, Jandeen (Doug) McLean and Kimberlee Lynn Kropf. 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. All the Jewels of her life.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Everett and Ruth Haring; her brother, Harold Haring; her husband, Narvin R. Jackson and her son, Tracy Ray Jackson. Whom we are sure were all there to embrace her as she returned home.
As a family we want to thank the hospice team for the help in caring for our beloved mother in her last few months of life.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the chapel located at 4980 West 3285 South in West Valley City, Utah. Funeral will start at 11:00 a.m with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at the same location. The Interment will be at Valley View Memorial park.
