Everett Barnett Obituary

Everett was a member of the Cropper Baptist Church and loved hunting, fishing, golfing and mowing the yard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donzetta Bailey Barnett; his parents, Everett Marshall and Thelma McGuire Barnett; and his daughter, Deborah Barnett Corley.
He is survived by his sons, Brian Barnett (Paula), and Dwayne Barnett; his stepsons, Kinman Barrett (Janice), and T.L. Barrett (Lori); his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his brothers, Carter Barnett (Paula) and Glenn Barnett (Janice).
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Expressions of sympathy may be made out to the American Cancer Society.
