        Mr. Everett Gambrell, age 78, of Fourmile, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Pearl (Smith) Gambrell. He was born on October 25, 1946, in Knox County, the son of Loyd Gambrell and Nannie (Gregory) Gambrell.

        He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Charles Lee Gambrell and Joe Ray Gambrell.

       Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Pearl Gambrell of Fourmile, three children, Candace Thomas and husband Chris of Moore’s Creek, Wayne Everett Gambrell and wife Heather of Raymore, Missouri and Lisa Karen Gambrell of Kansas City, Missouri, ten grandchildren, Elizabeth Thomas, Genevieve Gambrell, Allison Taylor, Rachel Gambrell, Laura Gambrell, Katharine Kunkle, Kailani Dohres, Willow, Ciara and Elliott, three great-grandchildren, Aria, Ava and Matthew, five siblings, Arnold Gambrell of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Karen Gambrell of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Doris Shoemaker and husband Wayne Edgar of Columbia, Missouri, Jennifer Powell and husband Everett of Shinnston, West Virginia and Jerry Gambrell of Moore’s Creek, a special friend George Simpson and special friend and army buddy, Ronnie Gunter. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

         Funeral services for Mr. Gambrell will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Sizemore officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick. Pallbearers will be family & friends, Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Gunter, George Simpson, Everett Powell and Wayne Shoemaker.

         Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
