Born on July 9, 1939, in Maury County, Tennessee, Everette was the son of the late Green Wesley Pullen and the late Sarah Maxie Reed Pullen. Everette was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was baptized at Viola Baptist Church, where he was baptized. He spent his career working in maintenance at Casting Company, Union Carbide & Cosmolab. Outside of work, his heart was drawn to the outdoors. For over 61 years, he was the loving husband of Nellie Pullen. He found joy in farming, camping, fishing, and reading western novels. He had a deep appreciation for nature, spending countless hours sitting outside, watching the hummingbirds flit by and the cows graze. He found joy in attending classic car shows. Everette was a man of few words, but when he spoke, those around him listened. He was a man of integrity, quiet wisdom, and a heart devoted to serving others.

Everette is survived by his son, Ross (Connie) Pullen; daughters, Edith (Mike) Watkins and Mary (Jimmy) Weldon; grandchildren, Brandie (Phil) Mash and Dakota Pullen; great grandchildren, Mason Mash and Parker Mash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Sowell Pullen; brothers, Robert Pullen, Bobby Pullen, Joe Henry Pullen, George Pullen and Leonard Pullen; and sisters, Margie Whitley, Dorothy Thomas, Bertie Sue Fagan, and Edna Elizabeth Pullen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Pullen, Mason Mash, Parker Mash, David Pullen, Curtis Slayton, and Jimmy Weldon.
