Ms. Evie Smith Wilburn, age 103 of the Old Bottom Community in Macon County, TN passed away Saturday morning, April 20, 2024 at Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, TN. Evie is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Funeral Services for Ms. Evie Smith Wilburn will be conducted Monday afternoon, April 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dewayne Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until her service at 2:00 p.m.
Family request memorials be made to Old Beech Bottom Missionary Baptist Church. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Bonnie V. Wilburn; parents, Phleam Dillard "Did" & Mattie Tuck Smith; sisters, Vellie & Willie Dee Gregory; brothers, Curtis, Ottie, Dillard, Audie, Georgie, & Cortis Smith; infant brother; 2 half-brothers, Virgil & Herlan Smith.,Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Dimple Wilburn; granddaughter, Christy & husband, Jeff Gregory; great-granddaughters, Katelyn & husband, Chase Eller all of Lafayette, Kelsey & husband, James Ogden of Nashville; great-great-grandchildren, Everly, Ace, & Lynleigh Eller, Jimmer Ogden; nephew, James Ray & wife, Robbie Mathis of Lebanon; niece, Annette & husband, Ronald Oldham of Hendersonville; great-nephew, P-Nutt & wife, Kim Wilburn of Lafayette.
