PIQUA - F. Paul Kasler, 95, of Piqua, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Buckeye Forest. He was born May 5, 1930, in Morgan County to the late Floyd O. and Stella (Williams) Kasler. He married Dorothy Swob June 14, 1958, in Piqua; and she preceded him in death May 4, 2017.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Teena) Kasler of Hardin County, David (Jenny) Kasler of Piqua; three grandchildren, Ashley (Devin) Riedlinger of Findlay, John (Lauryn) Kasler of Kenton, and Grant Kasler. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Kasler; a brother, Edwin Kasler; and two sisters, Patricia Grissom, and Lillian Buffington.
Mr. Kasler was a graduate of Piqua Central High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served in Korea aboard the aircraft carriers USS Saratoga and USS Essex. He worked for the Copeland Corporation where he retired from their purchasing department in 1992. He was a past member of Piqua Baptist Church. Additionally, he was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the USS Saratoga Association, and the American Legion. He was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling the world with Dorothy.
A funeral service to honor his life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Wellman officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington where full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sons of the American Revolution, 809 W. Main St., Louisville, KY 40202.
