Fae Rosenthal Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3, 2023.
Fae Rosenthal, 51, of Narragansett, RI died peacefully at her home on January 25, 2023. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE Fae leaves behind her mother and father, Maxine and Jay Rosenthal, and a truly remarkable number of friends and family whom she loved and who, in turn, returned that love and admiration in full measure. People from all walks of life gave Fae her energy, and she freely shared that positive energy with everyone who had the good fortune to be around her.

Fae loved nature and animals, her small but "perfect-for-her" beach house, and her cat Julia. Fae was passionate about her stained-glass making, listening and dancing to her favorite bands, and traveling - most often to Delaware and Arizona. But the beach was her home, and though her time here was too short, she wasted little. Her dance card was always full.

Fae will remain in our hearts in the picture of her fabulous smile, the memory of her sweet and generous nature, and the extended hand - always there to all who needed a friend.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fae's memory may be sent to Friends of the Narragansett Library, Jonnycake Center for Hope, Peace Dale, RI, or The Contemporary Theater Company, Wakefield, RI.

Fae was one-of-a-kind wonderful Her smile, her joie de vivre, her love of animals and nature were a delight to see. A life cut short, but a life full of love and giving and many treasured memories with her and of her.

Although we have only known Fae for a short time, it feels like we have known her forever. That is the effect she had on everyone She was kind and always willing to lend a helping hand. Fae was a great listener. She had friends from all corners of life and was always busy. Fae was a connector of people and Harbour Island will not be the same without her. We miss you Fae, Rest In Peace.
