Coats, NC: Mrs. Fannie Elizabeth Jackson Beasley, age 88, of Red Hill Church Road went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be Revs. Tony Beasley, Christopher Matthew Beasley, Donnie Barbour and Kim Strickland. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn.
Mrs. Beasley was born May 1, 1934 in Sampson County to the late Charlie Felton, Sr. and Sarah “Clyda” Williford Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Cleasper Beasley; sisters, Armatha J. Emory and Shelvia Jean Lewis; brothers, Charles Jackson, William Jackson, Joseph K. Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Charlie Jackson and Clayton Barefoot. Mrs. Beasley was a member of Red Hill PFWB Church where she served in many capacities. She was the Woman of the Year in 1982 of the Red Hill PFWB Church Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Beasley was a homemaker.
Mrs. Beasley graduated from Plain View School in 1952 and started dating the love of her life Willie Cleasper Beasley in 1951 and married in 1953. She graduated from Hank Hannah Beauty School in 1969. Mrs. Beasley worked for 15 years as the owner and operator of Fannie’s Beauty Shop from her home. She retired at the age of 50. Fannie’s passions were her husband, boys, gardening, playing the piano, music, and cooking for her family and friends. Her commitment and love for her Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ was always her first priority in her walk through this life.
Surviving include her sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Sharon Beasley of Willow Spring, Tony & Barbara Beasley of Coats, Brent & Becky Beasley of Coats, and Mike & Donna Beasley of Coats; Ten Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, December 16, 2022 and other times at the home.
