CARIBOU – Fannie A. Dionne, 82, died May 19, 2023 at Caribou following a period of declining health. She was born in Caribou, October 25, 1940 the daughter of Bert and Ruby (Drost) Hewitt. Fannie was a dedicated homemaker, to her husband and three daughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Dionne, her parents, and 6 of her siblings, Bert Hewitt Jr., Floyd Hewitt, Ralph Hewitt, Gary Hewitt, Eva Dyer, and Vivian Bubar. Fannie is survived by her three daughters, Pamela Dionne of Easton, April Dionne of Caribou and her partner Roger O'Neal, and Cheryl Dionne of Washburn, her brother, Gordon Hewitt and wife Laura of Caribou, grandchildren, Ashley Chasse and husband Wayne, and great-grandchildren, Savana Brown, Rylee Brown and Rylee Chasse, and a special neighbor Dorothy Moro, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10AM at the New Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating. A celebration of Fannie's life will follow at the Washburn Pentecostal Church, 1202 Main Street, Washburn.
