Fannie Estelle Harris Minatee, also known as "MIMI" (70 years old), passed away on October 15, 2025 at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Fannie was born on February 4th, 1955, in Newark, New Jersey to John Morgan and Fannie Harris. She was the eldest of 10 kids.
Fannie attended the Newark Public School system and later went to work retail and volunteer for Newark Public School system.
Fannie was a beautiful woman with an amazing heart. She loved to cook and take care of people. Most people who knew her referred to her as "Ma" or "Grandma". She had just a pure good heart for all.
Fannie was preceded in death by her father and mother John Morgan and Fannie Harris, also her siblings Randolf Morgan, John Harris, Elanor Brown and Roxanne Morgan.
Fannie is survived by her sisters and brothers Darlene Davis, Cheryl Morgan, Denise Hill, Derrick Morgan and Gregory Morgan, her three daughters Rhonda Williams, Shantai Thomas and Nicole Holland, her sons-in-law Ronald Williams, Keith Thomas and Khalid Holland along with 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
