Fannie J. Rouse January 2, 1916 - December 2, 2009 Seven Springs-Fannie Jones Rouse, 93, of Seven Springs, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Mrs. Rouse was born in Lenoir County to the late Johnnie and Mary Shivar Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty one years, J. Paul Rouse; two grandchildren, Tracy Eubanks and Lisa Rouse; sister, Carrie Jones Puckett; and three brothers, Johnnie M. Jones, James Edward "Skeety" Jones and Ben Jones. She was a member of Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and retired as a food service supervisor following twenty years of service at Caswell Center. A service of remembrance will be held Friday, December 4, 2009 at 3 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. George Futrelle officiating. Interment will follow at Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Rouse is survived by a daughter, Lynn Eubanks and husband, Jimmy of Seven Springs; son, Braxton Rouse and wife, Doris of Seven Springs; two grandchildren, Jay Rouse and wife, Shelly of Seven Springs, Austin Eubanks and wife, Elizabeth of La Grange; five great grandchildren, Heather Price, Jaime Parks, April Tutor, Taylor Rouse and Camryn Eubanks; sister, Annie Hinson of Kinston; and six great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rouse, 1859 Liddell Road, Seven Springs. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Barbara Shepard, 5471 Liddell Road, Seven Springs, NC 28578. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
