First Lady Fannie Mae Williams was born on May 14, 1947, in Damacus, Georgia. Affectionally known as "Biddy" she was blessed with 78 beautiful years of life. On her appointed day, she peacefully transitioned from labor to reward, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, love, and service that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Louella Miller; Brothers: Junior, Henry Lee, Richard, McArthur, Charlie, Jessie, and Blossom Miller; Sisters: Rosa Lee Miller, Simmie Christopher, Elizabeth Grimes, and Christine Fuller

Fannie was a woman of strong faith and unwavering devotion to God. She was a faithful and committed member of the church; she served with humility, diligence, and a willing heart. Whether through worship, fellowship, service, or quiet acts of kindness, she believed in living her faith daily. Her presence in the church was a source of encouragement, and her dedication reflected her love for the Lord and His people.

A true nurturer by nature, Fannie was known for her love of cooking. Her kitchen was a gathering place where family and friends felt welcomed, cared for, and loved. She believed food was more than nourishment, it was an expression of love, and she gave it freely. Many cherished memories were made around her table, seasoned with laughter and heartfelt conversation.

Fannie also possessed a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh and had a way of bringing joy into any room she entered. Her quick wit, warm smile, and lighthearted spirit lifted others, even in difficult moments. She knew how to find joy in simple things and shared that joy generously with those around her.

Fannie met the love of her life in June of 1984. On February 14, 2004, they were married in Holy matrimony and shared over 23 years of life together. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Michael Williams, and a loving mother to her one cherished child, China Nicole Miller, grandchildren, Nicholas Baisden, (Jamela) and Jonequa Miller, great-grandchildren, Jakhai, Christian, Joel, Nova, Noah of Waycross. Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured herself into the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving them with lessons of faith, strength, love, and perseverance.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving husband. one devoted child, grandchildren and great grandchildren, two beloved sisters Johnnie Mae Miller, and Jerelene Miller , Mother-in-law – Etta Mae Smith of Atlanta, Sisters-in-law, Tonya (Daryl) Mason of Dallas, Ga, Gerrie Miller of Waycross, brother-in-law, Elfrando (Kennedi) Shaw of Valdosta, GA. Extended family members, daughters, Lateesha (Derek) Chatman, Shanna (Cedric) Godwin, Grandchildren- Alexa, D'Juan, D'Shuan, Xavier, Ashunte, MacKenzie, and Zoey, Devante, Jayce, Joseph, JeLani and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends. Special niece, Lisa Miller, Special friends Mattie and Kelly Gibson.

A Funeral service is planned for Saturday, February 14, 2026, Service Hour 11:00 am Church of Christ Written in Heaven Blackwell Street. Waycross, GA. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to gather and share in this celebration of her life. We ask that you bring your memories, love, and prayers as we remember her together.

Family and friends are being received at her residence 402 Clinton Street, Waycross, GA 31501. Please keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.
