Farida Richan Obituary

Born in Mishtay, Syria, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Fihde (Saleet) Jarjous. Farida was a devoted and faithful member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Allentown.
A homemaker for much of her life, Farida also worked in several factories throughout the Allentown area before retiring. She took great pride in her home and found joy in cooking, cleaning, and caring for those she loved. Known for her warmth, generosity, and welcoming spirit, Farida touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children: Samia Alzghtiti and her husband Nabil of Whitehall; Rima Nema and her husband Karim, also of Whitehall; Gabi Richan and his wife Nathalie of Philadelphia; Pier Richan of Allentown; Yaser Richan of Allentown; and Tarek Richan and his wife Claudia, of Bethlehem.
Farida cherished her grandchildren above all else: Tarek, Gabrielle, Ronza, Giovanna, George, Eid, Yassmin, and Alexia.
She is also survived by her brothers George Jarjous and his wife Inam of Whitehall; Makhail Jarjous and his wife Rahal of Allentown; Joseph Jarjous and his wife Oumayma of Allentown; her sister Samia Mansour and her husband Abdo of New Castle, PA.
She was predeceased by her brother Farid Jarjous and her sister Juhaina Saleet. Farida also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Farida's greatest joy was spending time with her family and caring for them. Her loving spirit, selflessness, and kindness will be remembered always.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Avenue, Allentown. Calling hours will be held at the church from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family is receiving condolences on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at St George. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Allentown, www.BKRFH.com
