Farrell Holliday Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crain Funeral Home, Inc. - Franklinton on Dec. 26, 2025.
FARRELL C. HOLLIDAY, AGE 79

a resident of Franklinton passed away Wednesday December 24, 2025 at his home. He was retired after a long career at Rutter Rex in Franklinton. He was the mechanic and maintenance man for the many sewing machines for the company. Farrell enjoyed working with his hands and could repair just about anything, including lawnmowers, golf carts, other small engines and even cars. He loved gardening and planted a huge vegetable garden each year then gave away much of what he grew to his family and neighbors. Farrell also enjoyed working around his house and taking care of his yard. He and his wife enjoyed taking road trips to the gulf coast and riding around many other back roads. He was an excellent storyteller that never met a stranger, always visiting with people he met or his family on the phone every day. Farrell enjoyed bluegrass music and loved listening to his huge album collection all the time. He had a special place in his heart for his pet dog "Cindy".
