Loving Husband, Father, Brother, and Grandfather
Fausto DeFranco, 64, of Belleville, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025. Born in Acri Cosenza, Italy, Fausto was the son of the late Giuseppe DeFranco. The beloved husband of the late Francesca DeFranco. Fausto is survived by his mother Raffaela (Montagna) DeFranco, his daughters Ashley, Lucia, Raffaela, Francesca, and Anna Maria, his brothers Antonio, Salvatore, Pio-Frank, and Guiseppe Jr., sisters Anna, Paola, and Maria, and his thirteen grandchildren Fausto, Jamie, Giuseppe, Brian, Brianaleigh, Ashton, Donovan, Olivia, Kaia, Kora, Romeo, Ariah, and Emma, and several nieces and nephews.
He worked for Angal Labs in Fairfield as a welding/soldering fabricator. He will always be remembered for the passions that brought him joy and lit up the lives of those around him. A lifelong and devoted Dallas Cowboy's fan, he cheered on his team through every season with unwavering loyalty. He was also a die-hard Elvis Presley admirer, finding comfort and happiness in the music and spirit of the King. Beyond that, Fausto's love for family and friends, and playing the accordion filled countless gatherings with warmth, laughter and unforgettable melodies. His enthusiasm, energy, and love for these parts of his life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The funeral will be Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 9:30AM from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 23rd from 2:00PM -4:00PM, and from 7:00PM – 9:00PM.
