Favonia Marquart Obituary
Favonia A. Marquart, 86, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at her residence under the care of FairHope Hospice.
Favonia Arlene (Rauber) Marquart was born on August 9, 1939 in Basil, OH. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Favonia enjoyed her card party with her special friends.
She is survived by her daughter Terri (Kevin) Legan; sons Daniel L. (Penny) Marquart and Ryan E. (Dana) Marquart; grandchildren Jamie Marquart, Mandie Marquart, Amme (Drew) Marquart, Anthony Taylor, Christopher M. (Sarah) Shy, Deanna J. Marquart; 6 great grandchildren; many cousins; and other beloved family members and friends.
Favonia is preceded in death by her husband Kenny Marquart; son Wade Marquart; parents Merritt D. and Glorene H. (Crist) Rauber; and brother Melvin M. Rauber.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore OH 43105. Burial will follow in Basil Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, OH 43130.
