Fay Elizabeth Carroll passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength that will be cherished by all who knew her.

She was born on June 27, 1942, the beloved daughter of Ralph and Birdie Anderson, whose values and love shaped the compassionate woman she became. Fay devoted her life to service-both to her family and to her community-most notably through her extraordinary career in education.

An educator for 49 years, Fay touched generations of students through her dedication, patience, and belief in the power of learning. She spent the majority of her teaching career at Jenkins High School, where she was respected not only for her knowledge, but for her fairness, encouragement, and genuine care for her students. Her classroom was a place of guidance and inspiration, and her influence will live on through the countless lives she helped shape.

Family was the center of Fay's world. She is survived by her son, Todd Ebert; her two cherished grandchildren, Patrick and Aramina; and her sister, Pam. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her presence will continue to be felt through the lives she touched.

Fay will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet humor, and steadfast integrity. She will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim, Georgia on January 10th at 2:00pm.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory remains a lasting source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
