Funeral services for Fay Jewell McCullough, 80, will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Wendy Wyatt Coker.
Fay was born on March 14, 1944, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Joseph E. McGee and Maggie Stampley McGee and passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in Shreveport. Fay was a resident of Shreveport and retired from AT&T. She loved crafts, plants, her family, friends, and her pets. She will be greatly missed but the family will forever love and cherish her memory.
Fay is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maggie McGee; husband, James McCullough; son, Robert Martin; brothers, Billy, Pat, Zeno, Burno, and Leo; and sister, Mary. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Terry McCullough, Rebecca Powell and husband, Jeff, Tommy McCullough and wife, Briana, James McCullough Jr. and wife, Julie, Michael McCullough, and Leon Martin; 24 grandchildren; and sisters, Theresa McGee and Doris McGee.
Honoring Fay as pallbearers will be her six grandsons, Timothy Bates, Trenton Bates, Taylan Brown, Jeffrey McCullough, Bradley McCullough and Grayson McCullough.
The family would like to express special thanks to the Deaf Action Center for all their love, help, and compassion throughout the years.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Deaf Action Center.
