Janice Lea Ledbetter Oursso was born February 18, 1944 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 22, 2026. Janice had a strong and unconditional faith in Jesus Christ. She loved antiques, crafting and spending time with family and friends. Jan was a devoted member of North Keithville Baptist Church.
Jan is preceded in death by her parents, C.C. Ledbetter and Juanita "Mim Mim" Ledbetter; and her husband, Fred Oursso. Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Byers and wife, Rhonda of Shreveport, LA; Michelle Nunley and husband, David of El Campo, TX; goddaughter, Amy Oliver of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Danielle Lewis and husband, Keith of Pearland, TX, Justin Bounds of Houston, TX, Hannah Nunley of San Antonio, TX, Nikki Byers of Blanchard, LA and Garin Byers and wife, Stephanie of Blanchard, LA; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Ray Ledbetter and wife, Shirley.
A private graveside service will be held in her honor with her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations may be made to the food pantry at North Keithville Baptist Church.
A special thanks to Bristol Hospice and Patty Lander for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Jan.
