Faye Shipley Cagle

Faye Shipley Cagle, age 81, of White Pine passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 28, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Tennie Shipley, her sister Dorothy Cagle and infant son Jeffrey Cagle. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, the love of her life, Bernie Cagle, Johnny (Sabrina) Cagle, Patti (John) Patterson, grandchildren Jake and Jonathan and three great grandchildren.

Faye was a born again Christian of Baptist faith and a member at Omega Baptist Church in White Pine Tennessee. Faye was a devoted wife, mother, mammaw, sister, and friend.

We would like to thank the church for their love and support during her battle with Alzheimer's. A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, to all the nurses, caregivers and social workers that provided care, support and compassion during her illness. A heartfelt thanks to the many others that volunteered their time and provided the much needed love and encouragement.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made online to the Alzheimer's Association.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 7:00pm in the sanctuary of Omega Baptist Church, with the Rev. Scott Ingram and Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm prior to the service at the church. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 11:00am in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
