Josh W Harless, age 42 of Morristown, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 2, 2026. He lived and breathed for his kids, family was everything to him and he never met a stranger. Josh loved with everything in him. He had a great love for sports of all kinds, from watching his son, Deagan play volleyball to playing video games with his sons. He was employed by the Recreation Department in the Town of White Pine and he loved his job and was always smiling and cutting up in his down time.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Cindy Harless and Jack and Polly Hampton along with his father-in-law, Anthony Jesse Cupp.
He is survived by his loving fiancé and partner of 20 years, Jessica "Mandy" Southerland, kids, Daegan Wayne Harless, Pacey Cameron Harless, Alec Trevor Southerland, and Joseph Alan Southerland, grandson Sylas Joseph Frazier, parents, Deloris and Clyde Harless, sister, Brooke Lashae Harless, nieces and nephews, Allison Betty Morgan, Oakley Ryan Morgan and Lexi and Jaci Gambrel, special cousins, BJ Collins, Frankie Turner and Adam Turner also several aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and his coworkers, mother-in-law Beth Gosa, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Cody Hughett.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with a Celebration to follow at 7:00pm.
