Faye Davenport

Faye Davenport, age 81, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Piedmont Cartersville Hospital.

Faye was a dedicated professional, serving as a real estate agent for over 20 years and as a merchandise broker for more than 30 years. She was a strong, loving mother, a wonderful provider, and a loyal friend to many. Above all, she was a proud and devoted grandmother known lovingly as "Nana Faye."

Faye enjoyed fishing and dearly loved her poodles. Her warmth, strength, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Ware officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.and Saturday 12 Noon - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Faye is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Dedra Croft of Adairsville, Georgia, and Tonya and Ed Bruce of Woodstock, Georgia; grandchildren April Wideman, Makenzie Bruce, Ethan Bruce, Madelyn Wissell, and Abigail Bruce; great-grandchildren Tripp Nichelson, Maddox Reaid, and Fallon Wideman; and several nieces and nephews. Faye was Preceded in death by her daughter Candy Michelle Holloway , Parents Willie Price and Aliene Price, Sister, Tootsie Price, and Wanda Melton, Brothers Gene Price and Bobby Price.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Type One Diabetes Association.
