Faye V. Eblen - age 88 of Kingston, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at her home. Faye was a faithful member of New Midway Baptist Church. Faye worked for Burlington Mill in Harriman as a trainer. She and her husband Raymond owned an upholstery business for many years. Faye was a member of the East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department where she was the first certified first responder in the department serving for 21 years. Faye was a excellent cook and her cinnamon rolls were legendary.

Preceded in death by her son, Donnie Eblen; parents, Cleo and Ruth Vineyard McKee; siblings: Luther Goodson Jr., Danny McKee, Hubert McKee, Pat Bailey, Doris McMahan, and Jerry McKee.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Raymond Eblen; daughters, Debbie Barker (Jack) and Cathy Hamby; daughter-in-law, Pam Eblen; grandchildren: Justin Magill (Alyssa), Travis Palafox-Eblen (Matt Palafox), Jessica Byrd (Daniel), and Lucas Hamby (Vanessa); several great-grandchildren; siblings: Nadine Payne (Larry), Jo Marie Rasar, Randy McKee (Sharon), and Steve McKee (Susan), Wilma Best and Norman Goodson, along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 15th at the New Midway Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Rod Garrett officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday morning for graveside services in Zwicker Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hooks and the East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department officiating.

East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department firefighters will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department.
