Faye Welsh Obituary
Faye Welsh, 75, passed away at her home in Chambersburg, PA the night of May 9, 2022 surrounded by her two sons and husband.
Born December 14, 1946, in Newville, PA to the late Lewis and Emma (Gettel) Ickes. She was a 1964 graduate of Big Spring High School.
Faye enjoyed camping with her husband and dog, Bo. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Welsh; two sons, Scott Runshaw (wife Nikki Martin-Runshaw), and Terry Runshaw; two step-children, Jennifer Frey (husband Jared Frey), and Michael Welsh; two grandchildren, Levi Runshaw and Mikayla Runshaw; six step-grandchildren, Tyler Welsh, Kaitlyn Barnes, MaKayla Barnes, Shayna Crout, Adrieanna Welsh, and Drake Welsh; one step-great granddaughter, Raegan Welsh; Three siblings, Mary Irvin, Joe Ickes (wife Bonnie Ickes), and Lavana Shaw (husband Keith Shaw).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Jean Thomas and one brother, Harold Ickes (survived by wife Barb Ickes).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at William F Sellers Funeral home in Chambersburg. Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
