Felix Gonzalez, a vibrant soul born on March 17, 1995, in Cleveland, Texas, left this world on October 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and an indomitable spirit that touched the lives of many.

Felix was a free spirit, known for his adventurous nature and a heart that was as big as his dreams. He embodied a spirit of resilience that seemed to defy the bounds of authority, paving his own path through life with confidence and perseverance. His family was at the center of his world; he cherished his children, Mia Ann Gonzalez, Gunner Isaac Gonzalez, and Marissa Leanne Martin, Nathan and Camden Maciel, with an unyielding love that provided them with a strong sense of security. To them, he was not just a father but also a lifelong protector and a source of unwavering support.

Felix’s kindness was legendary. He was the type of person who would drop everything at a moment's notice to help those in need. His smile—an infectious, million-dollar grin—was a reflection of the joy and warmth that he brought to every room he entered. Through thick and thin, he was truly loved by everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his parents, Donny and Patricia Marrs, who cherished him deeply throughout his life. The mother of his children, Mary Beth Martin, played an integral part in Felix’s journey, and his close-knit family continues to honor his memory daily. His brothers, Eric Gonzalez and his wife Callie, and Eddie Lupe Jordan, stand by the legacies of laughter and love that Felix cultivated. His sisters—Kiesha Gonzalez Carr and her husband Carlos Carr, Tammy Roberts; Crystal Gonzalez; Joyce Leger; Amanda Stutes and her husband Ryan; Felicia Leger; and Lindsey Davidson—were blessed to have him as their brother, sharing countless memories that will forever hold a treasured place in their hearts. Felix’s life was filled with countless cherished friendships, and he is also survived by many loving family members and a host of treasured friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Gonzalez and Carolyn Gonzalez, along with his uncles, Romualdo Gonzalez and Margarito Gonzalez, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

A visitation for Felix will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home, located at 200 South Washington Avenue, Cleveland, TX 77327.
