Felix Hernandez

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Felix Hernandez, born on September 24, 1927, in Mexico, and peacefully departed this life on October 18, 2025. Felix was the beloved son of Felix and Maria Adelaida Hernandez. He was a dedicated father, husband, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Isabel Flores Hernandez, and loving daughter, Maria Adelaida Dosher. Felix is survived by his two sons: Mario Omar Hernandez (Orfelinda) and Juan Felix Hernandez (Imelda). He was also a proud grandfather to Mario "Omie" Hernandez (Annie), Ana Laura Garcia (Cruz), and Juan Carlos Hernandez; and great-grandfather to Auliya Angelica, Anthony Omar, Anaya Yvette, Cruz Omar Garcia III, and Myah Le-ann Garcia. He leaves behind his sister: Carmen Hernandez; along with extended family and friends who will cherish his memory forever. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, along with a rosary at 7:00 PM, at the Lord and I Funeral Home in Sullivan City, Texas. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan City, Texas; followed by a burial at the Lord and I Cemetery in Sullivan City, Texas at 11:00 AM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lord and I Funeral Home in Sullivan City, Texas.
