Felix Maldonado Navarro

Felix Maldonado Navarro, 87, a resident of Providence, RI, for 60+ years, passed away on September 5, 2025, in Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the husband of Margarita Montanez.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Isidro Maldonado and Filoemena Navarro.

Felix was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an adored grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he took immense pleasure in sharing his life's milestones with them. Above all, Felix cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Felix was a big fan of wrestling, following the sport with an unwavering loyalty, reveling in the excitement of each match and the prowess of his favorite wrestlers. He was an avid Red Sox fan, rarely missing a game. His loyalty to the team was steadfast, through both their triumphs and tribulations.

Felix is survived by his wife, Margarita Montanez, his children: Jose Melendez, Angel Melenez and wife Shonda Taylor, and Sonia Melendez. He additionally leaves his grandchildren: Jose Gomez, Priscilla Gomez, Dyami Taylor, Angel Taylor, Bianca Taylor, and great-grandchildren: Mia Gomez, Jyani Gomez, Layla Luciano, Saint Taylor.
