Felix Orona Sr. Obituary
Felix Orona was born May 18, 1949, the son of Leonardo and Lucia (Rodriquez) Orona, in Eagle Pass, TX. At age five he moved with his family to Moorhead, MN, where he attended school. Felix then joined the U.S. Army and he served during the Vietnam conflict. After his time in the Army, he returned home to Moorhead where he worked for the Myro Poultry Farm building chicken houses.
Felix later went to work for Astrup Farms of rural Dilworth where he continued to work up until his death. On August 22, 1981, Felix was united in marriage to Linda McKay in Grand Forks, ND. They made their home in rural Dilworth where they have lived throughout the years.
Felix loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Theresa Orona, Dilworth, Felix Orona Jr., and Bobbi (Matt) Anderson, both of Fargo, ND; and grandchildren, Trinity McCroskey, Hunter Orona, and Jaxon and Hailey Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alex and Leonardo Jr.; and sister, Mary Hart.
A Visitation for Felix will be one hour prior to his Funeral Service.
His Funeral Service will be Friday, June 26, 2020, at 11:00 AM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, with social distancing guidelines being followed.
Burial will be in Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, North Dakota.
