Felix Rosario Santiago was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, on March 18, 1933, to Felix
Rosario and Margarita Santiago. He passed away on October 9, 2025.
He served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran. His awards
included Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze stars, Combat Infantryman Badge, United
Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
After serving his country, Felix purchased a Grocery Store (Bodega) in Brooklyn, New
York His store a family-owned business served the community for over 40 years. He
loved gardening, landscaping, western shows, billiards and being of service to his
community.
Felix married Mrs. Maria L. Beltran in October of 1970. To this union two sons were born
Javier Rosario and Damian Rosario Beltran.
He is preceded in death by his father, Felix Rosario, his mother Margarita Santiago, his
daughter Lupita Rosario Santiago and his son Ramon L. Rosario Santiago. He leaves to
cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, three sons Felix, Javier, and Damian and a
host of loving family and friends.
