Fermin Hernandez of Venus, Texas, passed away February 8, 2025, at the age of 88.
Fermin was born December 26, 1936, in Praxedis G. Guerrero, DB Chihuahua, Mexico, to parents, Pedro Hernandez and Herlinda Rivas. He married Maria Margarita Palacios in Guadalupe Distrito Bravos, Chihuahua, Mexico. Fermin was a person who could be found outdoors. From being a loyal and dependable farmer, to gardening and planting, he had a knack and green thumb for the fields. He enjoyed wood working, raising and taking care of animals, as well as listening to music. Fermin attended St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield, Texas.
He was a very humble man, and always helped anyone in need, all they had to do was ask. Animals had a special place in Fermin's heart, and no animal went hungry while he was around.
Those who have welcomed him to heaven are his parents, Pedro Hernandez, and Herlinda Rivas; his wife, Maria Margarita Hernandez; Concepcion Palacios and husband Ignacio, Socorro Dozal and husband Jose de la Luz Dozal, Alberto Hernandez and wife Lydia Hernandez, Taurino Hernandez and wife Maria Elena Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez and wife America Hernandez, Nicolas Hernandez and wife Alicia Hernandez, Modesta Robles and husband Elias Robles.
Those left to cherish Fermins memory are daughters, Maria Socorro Aguirre and husband Robert Aguirre, Dora-Alicia Hernandez; sons, Heriberto Hernandez and wife Dora Hernandez, Armando Hernandez and wife Joanna Hernandez, Joe Hernandez and wife Alma Hernandez, David Hernandez and wife Jamie Tyler; grandchildren, Ronnie Hernandez and wife Corinna Alvarado, Isaiah Hernandez and wife Britsa Coronado, Joshua and wife Monica, Steven, Thomas, Robert, Nancy, Sergio, Melissa, Sophia Adame Hernandez and husband Alex Adame, Joseph Hernandez, Samantha Hernandez, Karla Alicia Sandoval and husband Christopher Sandoval, Juan Manuel Gomez III, Giovanni Isaac Gomez, Joe Moreno; great-grandchildren, Miguel Lopez, Caiden Lopez, Bella Aileen Hernandez, Ziah Brilynn Hernandez, Izaiah Owen Hernandez, Avery Blanca Hernandez, Brielle Zaylee Hernandez, Maia Alicia Barron, Ezra Juliet Sandoval, Christopher David Sandoval; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and special friends.
The Hernandez family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Marine Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital and Hospice groups Community Healthcare of Texas in Fort Worth for the care and compassion they provided our father Fermin Hernandez.
