Danny and Louise, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. The video was a beautiful tribute to how he loved his children and grandchildren. Some of the pictures bring back great memories of when we were young. Fern was a family friend who was like family to my parents and especially to my grandmother (Marie Beland). My thoughts and prayers are with you and Mrs Lessard and to all his children and grandchildren.

Dear Pauline and family,
As I pray for Fern and each of you my prayers seem full of joy for all you have meant to each other and the great heart he was. Was it not always great being with one another and laughing and being upbeat? I am sorry he had to suffer, and that you suffer as well, but we know that all grief will be turned into joy. He is now in the ultimate "Rencontre" with the Blessed Lord he loved so much and served so well.

Bob and Louise: It's been decades since we've crossed paths, but please accept my condolences. I met Mr. Lessard back in the early 1980s and we had a long, lively chat about our mutual interest: hockey. I remember him telling me of the players he knew in Quebec and how he remained active in the game after coming to Manchester. Although Mr. Lessard was a Habs fan and I a pathological Bruins fan, we got along splendidly.
Bob, how about a call? I live in Saco, Maine - another French-Canadian stronghold. My number is 207-730-6881.
Louise, I hope the years have been good to you.
Love to see both of you in the near future. I'm in Manchester once a month or so; still have a few old friends in the Queen City.
Warmest regards,
Neil Cote
PS: I dropped the "Onil" years ago - hated that name from the get-go!
