Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Fernando Castillo Jr, often referred to as Nano, who was born on March 4th, 1998, in Decatur, Georgia. Nano unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at the age of 26. Nano had attended Kennesaw State University where he met his wife, Chloe. They later moved to Jefferson, GA where they started their family and established their home. They are the parents of a beautiful baby girl, Wren, whom Nano loved dearly. One of his favorite things was getting her out of the crib in the morning. He loved many things, but he had a borderline unhealthy obsession with Snoopy. He himself was a character to say the least. In Nano's short years he accomplished so many things. Fernando touches the lives of so many without even realizing he did it. Although he is leaving a huge hole in our hearts, we are so thankful for the time he gave us. We love you Fernando and we will miss you.
Survivors include his wife, Chloe Castillo and daughter Wren Castillo; parents Fernando Sr, and Lawana Castillo; sisters Abigail Aguilar, Tori Castillo, & Sophia Castillo.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Celebration Church 5560 Thompson Mill Road, Hoschton, GA 30549 with Pastor Mike Day officiating.
