Fernando Morales Cardona, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 30th, 2024, in Queens, NY. He was born on November 22nd, 1956, in Sevilla, Colombia, and his life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
Fernando was a skilled construction worker, dedicating his days to building not just structures but also relationships with those around him. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and hardworking individual, always willing to lend a helping hand and smile.
Beyond his work, Fernando had a passion for soccer. Whether playing on the field or cheering on his favorite team, his love for the sport was evident to all who knew him. His enthusiasm for soccer brought joy to many and created cherished memories with family and friends.
Fernando will be deeply missed by all his loved ones, of which we are blessed to have many. This includes his wife, Consuelo, his daughters Jenny and Stephanie, their husbands Giovanny and Brendon, his stepsons Edwin and Julian, his grandchildren Jayven and Ryan, and his stepgrandchildren Vanessa, Brandon, Nicole, Bryan, Melanie, Jean Paul and Cristopher.
Fernando will be gravely missed by his siblings Eberth, Norberto, Luz Dary, Mary, Ramiro, Stella, and Nancy. His presence in their lives brought guidance, laughter, and unwavering support, and his memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate Fernando's life will be held at Bergen Funeral Service on 101st Avenue in Ozone Park, NY, USA, on June 2nd, 2024, at 4:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share in the memories of a man who touched the lives of many.
In his passing, Fernando is preceded by silence, as his legacy lives on through the love, humility and laughter he shared with those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
