Mr. Ortiz is also survived by his stepfather, Gary Hill; his sons, Fernando Ortiz, Jr. and Jason Ortiz; his siblings, Deloris Castillo (Saulo), Dario Acosta (Jessica), Raymond Acosta, Roy Acosta, Anthony Hendrix, Mitchell Hill (Nicole), Michael Hill (Brittni), and; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Castillo, Kalaya Hill, Thomas Hill, Nicolas Hill, Kaiden Hill, Hayden Acosta, Ashton Acosta, Liam Acosta, and Damon Acosta. He was greatly loved by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
A memorial service will be held at the Liberty Hill Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with Rev. Mike Reeves officiating. The family will gather at the park prior to the service.
Following the service, a candlelight service will be held, and a reception will proceed at The Lodge, 1133 Lovic Davis Road, LaGrange, Ga 30240.

Rest in peace, carnal. I been thinking about you all day and all night, and it still doesn´t feel real. This one really hit me. I told my family what happened, even told Cheerio... just so people know your name and what you meant to me.
I want you to know you´ll never be forgotten. Ever. I keep thinking about those talks we used to have about going to Mazatlán together. Crazy how you got there before me. Save me a spot and let me know how the view is from up there.
