Fernando "Nandis" Salas

Fernando “Nandis” Salas, age 87, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 01, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Fernando is preceded in death by his loving parents; Herlinda Holguin and Ramon Salas. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years; Beatriz Salas; his dearest children; Raul Salas-Granados (Francisco), Ana Dolores Salas, Guadalupe Camarillo (David), and Sandra Teresa Salas (Michael); and his grandson; Eduardo Camarillo. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory. 

Pallbearers to include: David Camarillo, Raul Salas-Granados, Michael Ferraro, Alberto Trevizo, Ruben Salas, and Daniel Salas.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 08, 2024, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am at Santa Teresita Catholic Church on Friday, February 09, 2024.  Donations can be made to St. Jude’s, The Animal Rescue League of El Paso, Mount Cristo Rey, or the American Nurses Association in his name.
