Fernando Vasquez, 62, of Sabinal, Texas passed away on February 4, 2024, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born on May 12, 1961, in Hondo, Texas to Juanita (Gomez) and Raul Vasquez.
He is survived by three sisters, Maria Gonzales, Rosie Salinas, and Jose Mendoza all of Sabinal; brother, Raul Vasquez, Jr. of Hobbs, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 9 a.m to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. on both days at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
