Finis Lee Long

Finis Lee Long "Dooder", age 58, passed away October 31, 2025.Finis went to be with our Lord surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness. He loved football, especially cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, even if he was the only fan standing. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grands, and fishing. Finis will be remembered for his big heart, unique humor and his unwavering love for his family. His memory will live on in every story shared, and every laugh echoed.
Preceded in death by his father, John W Long, and his sisters, Teresa Boatman, Jane Little, Pamela Long, and Tammy Womac.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Conquest Long; mother, Charlotte Long Craghead; sister, Cindy (David) Buntin; son, Daniel Long; daughters, Amber Long, Kayla Crossfield, and Emily (Skeeter) Depp; extended family, Erica Myles; 13 grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the many friends, family and caring compassionate team of Adoration Hospice in his final days. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Sunday, November 9th from 12-4pm at the Orlinda Community Center, 7501 State Route 52, Orlinda, TN 37141.
