Flo was a wonderful Lady.
My family attended weekly Mass at Saint John the Evangelist Parish on Saturday evenings at 5:30, occupying the second last row of pews.
Ed and Flo also liked that time for Mass and more times than not, sat in the last row of pews directly behind my family.
We soon became one Family and often stayed after Mass to converse with each other. We always looked to Saturday evenings and our gathering with them.
The Covid ended all of that as going to Church was taboo.
But phone calls were made to Ed and Flo to stay abreast of their health and well being. The conversations were very pleasant and sometimes were very long. It was always my pleasure to speak with them.
15 of my family member would pile into three cars and traverse to Mantel Ave to sing Carols to Ed and Flo at Christmas time. They seemed to really enjoy it and came outside and joined in the singing. My family still talks about the warm feeling it gave all of us.
I know Flo was in a lot of pain through the last several years, but she was a real inspiration for my family. She really loved Ed and could not complement and thank Ed enough for all of his care giving.
What a Lady she was and what a Gentleman Ed is.

Gina, Sherry and family, I am so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. She was so fun to be with when she would come to mom and dad´s 4th of July parties. She didn´t treat us like kids. I will miss her beautiful smile.
Love,
Susan Scott Meierjohan
