Flora L. Sanko

LEICESTER: Flora L. (Mansfield) Sanko,90, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died peacefully on Saturday, July 26th.She was the wife of Stanley V. Sanko who died in 2024. She leaves three daughters; Linda Szymczak and her husband Stephen of Paxton, Sharon Dalton of Ft. Mills, SC and Donna Ellis and her husband Paul of Wales, four sons; Timothy Sanko and his wife Nancy of Leicester, Kevin Sanko of Leicester, Richard Sanko of Cherry Valley and George Dalton and his wife Melissa of Auburn, her brother; George Mansfield of Naples, Fl., sisters; Patricia Hesse and her husband Keith of Boulder, Col., and Janet Mansfield of Lexington, KY, several, grand, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Flora worked for many years in several area nursing homes.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Gordon and Mabel (Bergstrom) Mansfield.
Funeral services for Flora will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at 11 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home will precede the service. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to a charity of choice.
