HOLDEN/LEICESTER: Frances A. (Rabidou) Laincz, 93, of Holden died February 13, 2026 at home with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Bob, to whom she was married for 72 years. She is survived by three children, son, David P. Laincz of Atchison, KS and daughters, Jean L. Peloquin and her husband Gary of Brooklyn, CT, and Linda G. Podmostka and fiancé Michael Butler of Holden, MA. She was a proud grandmother of Matt (Bobbie) Laincz, Kati (Jason) Bryan, Julie (Jeremy) Baril, Lisa (Bryan) Conforti, Alan (Gaby) Podmostka, and Jeff (fiancé- Amanda) Peloquin and great-grandchildren Anna, Halle, Izzy, Lily, Connor, Hailey, Logan, Natalie, and Amber. She also leaves two sisters, Betty L. Raymond of Shrewsbury and Jane E. Boltruczyk of Worcester and several nieces and nephews. Born in Woonsocket, RI, on January 15, 1933, she was the daughter of Albert L. and Nellie H. (Borkowski) Rabidou. She was a graduate of Leicester High School (Class of 1950) and lived in Leicester after she was married in 1952. Fran worked as a clerk, then treasurer at Leicester Savings Bank/Country Bank until retirement. She was a member of the Polish American Veteran’s Auxiliary and was a devout member of St. Joseph/St. Pius X Church. Her greatest joys were her loving family, her home, traveling the U.S. in the motor home, and being by the ocean.
