Flora Lee Staples

Centerfield, Utah - Flora Lee Staples, a beloved grandmother, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025 at the age of 79, surrounded by her family. Born on December 13,1945 in Burbank, California. Flora lived a joyful life filled with laughter and adventure.

Flora was known for her great sense of humor and loved to crack jokes, always bringing smiles to those around her. She had a passion for traveling and enjoyed exploring new places. Flora kept a journal where she wrote about her adventures and everyday life, capturing memories that her family will cherish.

A true party lover, Flora knew how to celebrate life. Whether it was a family gathering or time spent with friends, she made every moment special with her fun-loving spirit.

Flora is survived by her loving son: Ernie Zimmer of Centerfield. Daughter in law: Adrianne Zimmer of Venice. Step-son: Clarence Staples of Texas. Grandchildren: Alicianne Christensen of Venice, Shannon Jensen and Shawntel (Bret) Zimmer both of Richfield, David Helton and Jade Quinn of Orgeon. Great-grandchildren: Sladen Christensen, Rayder Christensen, Acilia Jensen, Olyvia Jensen, Ethan Courtier, Blayke, Brayden, and Bryson. Nieces and nephews: Tammy Mayne, Eddie Hays, Frannie Ladner, Aina Withers. Along with many friends who will miss her laughter and warmth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Popilek and Florence Aina, sister Helen, and grandson Bret Richard Zimmer.

A celebration of Flora's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. April 12, 2025 at the Centerfield LDS Ward Building.
