Florence "Flossie" Faye (James) Arnold, 86, of Braymer, MO., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 10, 2025, at Golden Age Nursing Home.

Flossie was born on July 27, 1939, in Albany, MO., the daughter of Cecil and Dora Faye (Hill) James. She graduated from high school in 1957 from Braymer C-4. After graduating, she married Paul Shannon. Together, they had one daughter, Kathy Jean. Later in life, she remarried to Edward Arnold.

Flossie lived in Braymer and Stover, MO., as well as Mishawaka, IN. Flossie worked for many years at Carrollton Hospital as a surgical technician and ward clerk. Flossie ended her healthcare career serving as an EMT in the Carroll County Ambulance Department.

Flossie enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, making afghans, wood crafts and painting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Flossie is survived by her only daughter Kathy (Farrel) Clevenger, Braymer; three grandchildren-Robby (Savannah) Cox, Braymer; Michelle Cox, Braymer; Ashley (Justin) Schultz, Merrimac, WI; eight great-grandchildren-Gavin, Memphis, Miami, Jordan, Kali, Carter, Paul and Khloe; brother-Cecil (Butch) James; sister-in-law-Rosemary James, and many more family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and late husbands; two brothers, Ronald (Ronnie) James, Woodrow (Woody) James; sister, Anna Mae Corbett; and step-son, Wayne (Bud) Shannon.

The family would like to thank Shirkey Hospice and Golden Age Nursing Home for their excellent care of Flossie. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Golden Age Nursing Home or Shirkey Hospice.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.
