Florence C. Kopko (née: Evasick), 96, of Elmwood Park, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Kopko (2005). Devoted mother of Gary and his wife Susan (née: Sommariva) of Clifton and Joseph and his longtime partner, Lisa DeCato, of Elmwood Park. Proud grandmother of Joanna Rocco and her husband Nicholas, Mary Katherine Frech and her husband Michael and Andrew Kopko and his wife Tatyana. Cherished great grandmother of Emily, Ella, Nicholas (Cole), Benjamin and William. Dear sister of the late Rose Kelnhofer, Dorothy Korkos, Helen Evasick, Charles Evasick and Edward Evasick.

Florence was born in Garfield, NJ on August 19, 1929 to the late Michael and Susan (née: Prebula) Evasick.

Mrs. Kopko worked as a clerk for Roaman's Mail Order in Saddle Brook for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Leo's R.C. Church in Elmwood Park and a graduate of Pope Pius XII High School, Passaic, NJ.

Visiting Monday, September 8, 2025 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market Street, Elmwood Park. Funeral Tuesday, September 9, 2025 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Leo's R.C. Church, Elmwood Park followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
