Florence Lynch (née Delaney) passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1st, surrounded by her loving daughters. Florence's life was defined by love, compassion, and dedicated service to her family and community.

A life long resident of Jersey City, graduate of St. Dominic Academy and the St. Francis School of Nursing (Class of 1968), Florence went on to earn her Master's degree in Nursing and devoted 45 years of her life to caring for the sick. She began her career at St. Francis Hospital, later serving as Supervisor of Nursing at Christ Hospital, and spent her final years caring for the elderly at Promise Care.

Florence was deeply devoted to her beloved husband, James ("Cubby"), and their four children. She cherished time spent with family and friends. Flo formed countless lifelong friendships, many of which began at the hugely popular gatherings held at 222 Jewett Avenue. She was a familiar and welcome face in the Jersey City social scene. Together with her extended family, she spent many summers filled with love and laughter at the Jersey Shore;memories her family will forever hold dear.

Flo was predeceased by her devoted parents, Bill and Marie Delaney; her loving husband, James ("Cubby"),their beloved son - Jamie; and her dear sister - Marie Hennessey, and brother-in-law, Kevin.
