Martha Victoria Serrano

Martha Serrano, 80, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2006, peacefully

in her sleep in the company of her children. She was born on October 16, 1945, in Ecuador and

was the daughter of the late Rosa and Juan Burgos.

She was a long-time respected employee of Meadowlands Hospital, a job she truly loved. Martha

was the embodiment of unconditional love and boundless generosity and loved by all who knew

her. Her hands were rarely still as she was always cooking or sewing something in her free time.

She was the heart of our home and family and dedicated her later years to nurturing and caring

for her grandchildren.

She was married to the late William "Angel" Serrano who passed away in 2009.

She is survived by her two children, Alfredo Serrano and Janina Serrano. Her grandchildren,

Jose, Anais, Karina, Ariana, and Haydelis. Her great grandchildren, Kennedi, Landon, and

Skylar.
